Growing up, I spent a lot of time “off in my own little world.” It’s a place populated with secret passageways, buried treasures, strange beings, and even a monster (or two). It’s a place where an animal by your side is your best friend, and magic is performed on a daily basis. The worries of the adult world have no place there. Sadly, it seems that very few adults remember the way back.

I don’t spend as much time there as I used to (or as I would like, perhaps), but I know several people that do. If I can go there with them and perhaps bring something back, even just a small piece, then I’ve captured something that can bring a smile to my face as I remember my own special travels there.
